We are pleased to announce that Solafune, Inc. (CEO: Ren Uechi) has been selected for a demonstration project under the "Hatch Technology NAGOYA" program, organized by the Innovation Promotion Department, Next-Generation Industry Promotion Division of the Nagoya City Economic Affairs Bureau.
■ Details About the Demonstration
Project Overview: Detection of illegal landfills using satellite data
Administrative Issue: Early detection of illegal and hazardous landfills! We aim to efficiently monitor them by utilizing satellite data and AI.
Responsible Department: Housing and Urban Bureau
Problem to be Solved: Efficiently monitoring whether illegal and hazardous landfills are occurring within the city.
Demonstration: Using satellite data and aerial images to identify locations of landfills or potential landfills. Based on these results, we will develop a landfill detection program and conduct an analysis regarding the associated risks, verifying whether it contributes to the efficiency of landfill patrol operations.

From August 2024 to February 2025: Coordination for the demonstration, implementation of the demonstration, and compilation of results
March 2025: Results report
