Solafune Inc. has successfully raised 200 million yen in a seed round of financing.
Solafune Inc., a company that specializes in the development and provision of satellite data analysis technology, as well as operating data analysis contests, has successfully raised 200 million yen in a seed round of financing. The funds were provided by ANRI, Chiba Dojo Fund, GREE Ventures, Leave a Nest Capital, Real Tech Fund, 90s, as well as several private investors and financial institutions.
Solving industrial and social issues from a “Space Perspective”
With the mission of "Hack The Planet.", we have been developing and providing technologies to analyze every event on the earth by utilizing satellite data and geospatial information. Our technologies have been utilized by major companies and governments in various fields.
Our platform, Solafune, is a competition-style satellite data analysis tool that aims to foster technological development in a more open format. We hold data analysis contests with the primary objective of solving industrial and social issues. Furthermore, our platform continues to evolve every day as an analysis tool for AI engineers from all over the world.
Purpose of Fund Raising
We are currently receiving requests and consultations on satellite data utilization from leading companies in various industries, both domestic and overseas. Additionally, government and administrative agencies are also seeking our expertise in this field. As a result, there is a growing demand for tailored services and research and development of analysis technologies to meet the specific needs of different utilization cases. We plan to use the funds raised to recruit new engineers and business development personnel globally, in order to strengthen our capabilities.
