Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Netherlands Visits Solafune Booth at Frigate Arrival Commemorative Event

Solafune was invited by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Japan and the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) to participate in and exhibit at a reception event commemorating the arrival of the Royal Netherlands Navy frigate HNLMS De Ruyter (F804), held at the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal (Koto-ku, Tokyo).
At the event, Ms. Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Netherlands, visited the Solafune booth. She held discussions with Mr. Kinichi Ikeda, Head of Strategy at Solafune, on the potential applications of satellite data in defence and security, as well as opportunities for cooperation between Japan and the Netherlands in the fields of space and security.

Solafune will continue to leverage satellite data (GEOINT) and open-source intelligence (OSINT), the collection and analysis of publicly available information, along with a wide range of data sources. By integrating and analyzing these inputs using AI, the company aims to contribute to international cooperation across a broad range of fields, including resource management, disaster prevention, agriculture, infrastructure monitoring, and defence.
