I am very honored to be selected for Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2024, following Forbes JAPAN 30 Under 30 2023 last year. At the same time, I would like to thank our stakeholders who support us on a daily basis. We feel a great sense of responsibility and fulfillment as our challenges are beginning to be appreciated by the world and we are able to tackle socially important themes. Together with our trusted members, we will continue to work hard to provide our unique technology to the world under the mission "Hack The Planet."

■ Profile of Ren Uechi, CEO of Solafune, Inc.

Born in 1997 in Okinawa, Japan, Ren graduated from the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. He worked as a software engineer and data engineer mainly in startups from seed to later stage while in school.
In 2019, he took an associate position at ABBALab, a venture capital company that invests primarily in seed and early-stage companies in the IoT domain.
In 2020, he founded Solafune, Inc., a satellite data analysis business with the mission "Hack The Planet," and became its CEO.
The startup announced a collaboration in developing satellite data analysis technology with Microsoft in 2021 and with Stability AI, the provider of Stable Diffusion, in 2023.
He was a runner-up in the ICC 2023 Fukuoka Startup Catapult and won the Deep Tech Venture of the Year 2023 Japan award.
