Front-end Engineer

Overview

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D and Business Development to ensure delivery of geospatial projects using satellite imagery

  • Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and track progress against goals

  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving issues as needed


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D and Business Development to ensure delivery of geospatial projects using satellite imagery

  • Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and track progress against goals

  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving issues as needed


Basic Qualifications

  • Business-level French (spoken/written) is mandatory to communicate with project stakeholders

  • 3-5 years of international, government, or tech-driven project management experience is required

  • Strong understanding of satellite data analysis, geospatial data technologies, or related fields is considered an advantage

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Notion, Slack, and equivalent)

  • Supporting supplier coordination and partnership implementation

  • Preparing structured reports, tracking deliverables, and maintaining project documents

  • Managing communication with external stakeholders, including international partners and authorities

  • Coordinating projects involving technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, business administration, or related field

  • Experience in software or deep tech product development is preferred

  • Experience managing projects funded by international organizations, public institutions, or government agencies

  • Experience with budget management, financial analysis, and coordination with suppliers, service providers, or technical partners

  • Familiarity with remote sensing technologies, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), or related domains

  • Previous experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment

  • Knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills

  • Knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies is appreciated

  • Demonstrate your ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and communicate effectively

  1. Final Interview (1-2 hours)
  • Engage in a final interview to discuss your fit for the role, team dynamics, and company culture

  • Address any remaining questions or concerns from both parties

  1. Reference Check and Background Verification
  • Provide references from previous employers or colleagues who can speak to your qualifications and performance

  • Undergo background verification checks as required by company policy

  1. Offer and Onboarding
  • Receive and review the job offer, including salary, benefits, and other details

  • Complete any necessary paperwork and undergo orientation and training as needed

  • Begin your role as Project Manager with support and guidance from the team
